    Hello again

This time I will talk about devil may cry. I think it was the first 3d game I ever played. The game that made me a gamer. And it was very, very good. I think I finished devil may cry 3 more than 6 years ago. I was a begginer and I didn't know what should I do so it was very hard for me, but it was worth it. I was very happy at the end, almost cried. I would recommend you to buy this game. I don't know why CAPCOM doesn't make devil may cry anymore.

I will start to talk about devil may cry 4 because in my point of view it has the best story.

Devil May Cry 4 is an action-adventure hack and slash video game developed and published by Capcom in 2008 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows platforms. The game is the fourth installment to the Devil May Cry series. It later on generated a handheld version released on iOS, titled Devil May Cry 4: Refrain. Chronologically, the game is set between the original Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2.

In an extra Special Edition story for Vergil, set before the events of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, Vergil has been traveling the world, looking for information about his father Sparda. Arriving in Fortuna, Vergil sets out to investigate the Order of the Sword and their intentions. In Vergil's closing cutscene, he leaves Fortuna, presumably having gained the knowledge he was looking for, and notes that while he can't exactly call them [The Order] misguided, one day they will all know the true power of a son of Sparda.

There is a remastered version they made last year

I won't spoil you much, I just wanted to tell you a little about this game.

    Devil may cry 3:

This is the first game I played from this series, the game where I had to fight Cerberus at the level 2 and I tried it 20+ times. I was so happy I throw my headphones in the air :).

Devil May Cry 3 opens in Dante's yet-unnamed shop in an American metropolis. A mysterious man, Arkham, arrives with an invitation from Dante's brother Vergil in the guise of a demonic attack. After Dante defeats his adversaries, a huge tower erupts from the ground nearby, eclipsing the sprawling city surrounding it. Sensing that Vergil is on the structure, Dante interprets this as a challenge. He begins fighting demons during his journey; once defeated, they become his weapons. Dante is attacked by a woman on a motorcycle who turns out to be Mary, Arkham's daughter, who wants revenge on her father for causing her mother's death. Arkham works for Vergil; they plan to take Dante's half of their mother's amulet and use its power on the tower to connect the human and demonic worlds.

Devil may cry 3 is one of the best games I ever played.

    Devil may cry 5:

The last game from this series, it has a good story, I have just good words for it, just as I had for the other games :)

The game is set in an alternate reality of the series. The game's story takes place in Limbo City, a modern-day city secretly controlled by all-powerful demons, manipulating humanity through the comforts of life, with the demons themselves residing in a parallel plane called 'Limbo'. Living on the fringes of the brainwashed society is Dante, a young man at odds with the demons who constantly hunt him, and the civilian authorities they control. Dante is warned by a young woman named Kat that he is in danger just as a Hunter demon drags him into Limbo. Dante navigates the Bellevue Pier's carnival and kills the demon with Kat's aid, who can see into Limbo with her psychic powers. Dante returns to the human world and accepts Kat's offer to meet with her boss, Vergil.

  2. I've always had a theory that the first game you fall in love with influences all the games you play from then on. Would you say most of the new games you like today are similar in style to this game?

I'm actually a huge fan of Capcom games, however I never have played the Devil may cry series. I picked up Devil my Cry 3 for PS2 I believe, would you recommend I play the earlier games first, or should I just pick up the latest and start there?

You're so lucky if you have it on ps. I would definitely recommend it to you. If you want to see the entire story, start with 1. If you have less time and you still want to see something awesome, go with 3.
I play a lot of games today, but yes devil may cry influenced me very much.

I have never played them either, however I did notice that they tend to have a following (like other really popular games) and wondered why it was. Based on what you said it seems like one of those games that if you get into it, you will just want to play them all cause they're so good. I agree with Zipo Deathlite, what would be the best game to start on?

I only played the last Devil may cry that came out, the one that they changed the looks in the main character.
I really like these type of games hack and slash kinda like God of War but i never got to play the first 4 games.

Growing up my parents didn't let me play these types of games, i did anyways lol, but unfortunately i didn't get to play the Devil May Cry series, i mostly played violence games when i was a kid in my friends house, his parents didn't care, but he didn't have Devil May Cry, we played mostly GTA.
but anyways, i think i'm gonna buy the hd collection for the ps3, really want to get into this series.

Could you tell us why your parents made this decision? How old were you? I would do the same to my child but not forever, I mean when he has a decent age I would play this game with him and enjoy watching him

I think i was 10 years old when i heard about Devil May cry, the reason my parents didn't let me play was because i was too young, but i still played GTA without them knowing haha
