Titanfall 2

Titanfall is an online shooter made by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA Games. After their succes with titanfall 1 from 2014 they decided to make a sequel. This time we have a single player campaign and every DLC will be free. The player's name will be Jack Cooper, a rifleman, who is sent to an alien planet with his former squadmate's titan BT-7274 to fight against both local alien creatures and human enemies from Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation. The skill system is improved, and players are rated based on their performance in a multiplayer match, regardless of whether their team wins or loses. Matchmaking is also enhanced, with the game automatically helping players to find a new match after the end of every match. Titanfall 2 is about the bond between Jack and BT. That's the essence of the story developers wanted to tell. And when you think about it, every “buddy story” has a kind of back and forth between its leads. They have to be able to react to each other or there is no relationship. That’s why they provided players a few responses to choose from when talking to BT.



A single player mode can vastly improve the overall quality of a game, beyond the simple fact that more content (with a different dynamic) is going to be delivered to the player. Respawn Entertainment used Source engine in order to make this game, the same thing they did with Titanfall 1 so we will have the old mechanics as well. The player has a lot of abilities including invisibility cloaking and parkouring, such as double-jumping, zip-lining and wall running with the use of a jetpack. These movments can be chained together in order to travel between locations quickly. A titan will slow the player, but it's definitely stronger. The models from the first game were scrapped, and six new types of titans are introduced. Titanfall 2's most significant change to its base gameplay comes in the form of the grappling hook, which fits very well into the game's overall emphasis on quick and rhythmic movement. Getting skilled enough with the grappling hook so that you can swing and catapult yourself around is a big part of the game now, and it's both fun and effective when you do it well.

If you want to see the multiplayer, there is a gameplay from Gamescom where you can see how the mechanics/titans/pilots work. Also, an amazing map where the objective is to have more points than your enemy.



The game will be avalabile on 28.10.2016 for Ps4/Xbox One/PC(downladable via origin, the official EA platform).

Titanfall 2 has a HUGE discount right now. It's 26.65 pounds if you buy from origin with the code TITAN20 . Respawn Entertainment made this decision because the sales were very bad and they expected more. Maybe this is because they launched it after battlefield 1 and before the new call of duty, who knows.
Anyway, it's a good chance to grab it

 

I got to play this game and i really enjoyed it!
I've played the original Titanfall and i also liked it very much!
Surprisingly the best of Titanfall 2 is its campaign mode, it's a very solid single-player experience with a good plot and an even better script.
The Multiplayer is also very fun, but i prefer the campaign, maybe it's because i'm not very good online haha.
Titanfall 2 is a complete game. It has a great campaign, very fun multiplayer and it's full of good game modes, I recommend buying if you're an FPS fan.

 

The first DLC will be available on 30 november for the players who pre-ordered the game and on 3 december for everyone.
It will be FREE as they promised. They will bring back an old and good map from Titanfall 1 -> Angel City.

Update:
Titanfall 2 will be free to play this weekend, starting today for the EA members with origin acces and friday for everyone else. It is a good marketing strategy because winter is coming and the sales aren't that good so it will be a good change for everyone to test their PC in order to be sure before buying it. You can play every mod, you have acces to everything and if you buy it later everything you did will be transfered on your new acquisition.

 

Another free weekend is coming to Titanfall starting today until 3 april.
Test the game and buy it because the need more money in order to give us more free content. A new map from Titanfall 1 was added again, remastered with the new engine. You will find more animations and weapons if you log in this week.
