Just finished this game and thought it was pretty interesting.

Gone Home is a first-person game quite simple and it's categorized as a indie game of adventure and exploration. In the game you enter the role of Kaitlin Greenbriar, a young woman who returned home after a year of exchange in Europe in 1995. When Kaitlin got back, she was waiting for a reception of her friends and family, but when she gets home the house is empty, and then it begins the mystery of the game.

Early on, and I believe that most of the players thought "It's a survival horror game". The sound of the rain, a typical American abandoned house, all the lights turned off and you get a feeling that a door will hit or something will appear out of the dark. But that's not it, then after a few minutes and after you visited some rooms you realize that the goal of the game is different, there are many objects around the house that will help you assemble the puzzle of each member of the family and what happened at that time that Kaitlin was out. It's very interesting the way the game plays out.

In Conclusion, Gone Home is that type of game that you either like it or hate it. It's important to clarify that if you have a open mind to other types of games, without action, shooting, you have a great chance to enjoy the game, but if you like something more busy, move away from this game.

If you're looking for a game with a story, simple and striking, surely Gone Home is a great choice for you!

It's a nice game, it has everything you need but the story is too short.. I wouldn't pay 20$ for it but I recommend to get it on sales or g2a :)

This game sounds interesting, too bad I'm not into horror games. But my wife likes these a lot. thanks for the recomendation. If it's a creepy game with a nice story attached to it, I'm guessing she'll give it a go.

Well that's someting to look forward to, I 've told my wife about this game and she's been nagging me to get her this. I bet she'll love your list too. I'd tell her to make an account here too so she can take a look at this great forum. Thanks for the info.
