What a Tense game!



Outlast is a horror game with stealth elements and focuses on the escape and exploration of a psychiatric hospital.

In Outlast, the player takes control of Miles Upshur, a freelance journalist who receives a complaint that strange things have been happening in a asylum a little way out of town. Miles decides to visit the place, not knowing the huge nightmare that awaited him.

The game is divided into eight chapters, each passing through a sector of the hospital and lasts about six hours total. Although it seems short, Outlast is such a dense experience that it seems to last a lot longer. The moments I spent at Mount Massive Asylum were terrifying and unforgettable to the same extent. This game turned out to be one of the most remarkable games I played this year.



Outlast perfectly fulfills it's objective: Scare you to death!

The game is really scary and the suspense really keeps you on the edge of the chair. For horror lovers, Outlast brings a unique experience, with an interesting storyline and an atmosphere of horror very well crafted.

 

I finished this game and I can say that it was awesome. I had 2 or 3 scary jumps that made me throw my headphones. I try to play every horror game with the lights off at night and I used this method for outlast, too. It was way better than playing it when the sun is up.
